Tutors

Our tutors are the backbone of our organization. We work with people who are just as passionate about learning and providing access to quality education for everyone as we are.

Tutor Application

Why become a tutor?

While tutoring any student can be a fun and flexible way to give back, we offer a unique opportunity to partner with families in underserved communities.

  • 50% of our families report an annual income of $0-40K, and most are households of 3-5 individuals
  • 40% of the families we work with have a parent who is considered "essential" personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic

Most importantly, these are students whose parents and guardians care deeply about supporting their educational goals

What our tutors say

Just recently, a tutee of mine told me that because of our sessions, he is not afraid to ask questions in class anymore! That lets me know that he wants his voice heard in the classroom (zoom) setting!

Isabel Rivera,
PanProf Tutor

I’m so glad to be a resource for my students as they continue to learn remotely throughout this pandemic. Being a part of Pandemic Professors has been an amazing experience and a highlight for me during these unprecedented times.”
